All ASB Karate classes are taught by Black Belts. Although we are teaching fighting skills, we also teach when it is appropriate to use those skills and when it is not.

Mike Klumpp, founder of ASB Karate, developed our style through 32 years of study in 14 different martial arts styles. Mike now lives, teaches, and Ministers in Dighton, Kansas.
Instructors Johnny Pumphrey and Bill Albrecht are fourth generation students of the Father of modern Karate Guchin Funakoshi and third generation students of the father of American Tae Kwon Do, Grand Master Jhoon Rhee. Both are family men who value a strong tradition of training in respect and self-discipline. ASB is a member of the World Black Belt Federation.
